| Recognised as one of the finest ambassadors of the Miss World pageant, the United Kingdom's Ann Sidney carried out the duties and responsibilities integral to her role as title holder with efficiency, charm and unflagging enthusiasm. Ann's reign as Miss World took her around the globe five times. She also joined Bob Hope on his USO tours of Asia.
