Twenty year old marketing student, Mimi Areme, was elected as Ghana’s representative for Miss World in the grand finale at the Accra International Conference Centre.

As one of her prizes, Mimi drove home a new Tata Safari 4X4 car, whose keys were handed to her by the Minister of Tourism, Mrs Juliana Azumah-Mensah. She was crowned by last year’s winner, Miss Mawuse Appea.
