The Japan Final took place on the 13th December 2009 in the Roppongi Oribe Hall in Tokyo. 29 contestants, who had won their regional contests, took part in the event.

The winner was 18 year old Hiroko Matsunaga from Fukuoka. She will go on to represent Japan at Miss World 2010. 1st Runner up was Ami Hiramatsu from Tokyo.

The event was broadcast on BS ASAHI TV station.
