Nuestra Belleza Mundo Mexico was held on the 20th September at the Convention Centre in Merida. The winner was announced as Anabel Solis Sosa from Yucatan, who will go on to represent Mexico at Miss World.

The spectacular event was broadcast live on the ‘Stars’ channel. During the evening there were performances from Alexander Acha and Ana Barbara.

The Governor of the Yucatan State, Ivonne Ortega Pacheco, was also present at the Final.

Anabel is 180cm tall and 22 years of age. Prior to her involvement in the contest, she was studying for a BA degree in Communication Sciences. She has now moved to Mexico City to begin her preparations for Miss World.
